Recently, the American food brand Chobani launched a ready-to-drink cold brew coffee series to compete with food giants such as Nestlé, Pepsi and Danone.
There are four flavors of Chobani coffee: cold brew black coffee (no sugar or dairy products); sweet cold brew coffee with sweetened creamer; vanilla cold brew coffee and oat cold brew coffee. It is reported that the new Chobani coffee contains only natural ingredients, no artificial flavors, sweeteners, and preservatives. It will be sold in grocery stores and retail stores across the United States this month.
Chobani Chief Innovation Officer Niel Sandfort said that entering the coffee market was the result of the company's "natural evolution" after being familiar with the market through creamer and milk, which gave the company the confidence to disrupt the field in a similar way. Chobani's coffee drinks are mixed with Arabica coffee beans and fresh cream or oat milk, unlike many straight-drink coffees that contain ingredients that consumers may not know.
At the same time, Coca-Cola recently launched new Coca-Cola coffee products in the United States, further enriching its Coke coffee product line. This is Coca-Cola's first launch in 2021 after the launch of three flavors of Coke coffee in 2020. This time, a zero-sugar(erythritol sweetener granular is often used as a zero-sugar product) version of vanilla and black coffee has been added. "sips like a Coke and finishes like a coffee" is used to describe its taste. It is reported that cola coffee contains 69 mg of caffeine per 12 ounces. It will be available in sales channels as ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee.
