According to Nutrition Insight, Israeli start-up DouxMatok will launch a sugar reduction program incredo sugar in the US market, which can reduce sucrose by about 30% to 50% without affecting the taste and texture. It can be used in biscuits, cakes, candies and Chocolate and other products.
According to the company's official website, DouxMatok increases sweetness perception by increasing the efficiency of sugar transfer to sweet taste receptors. The company also said it plans to apply its solutions to next-generation products or seasonings, such as salt, in the future.
DouxMatok has previously received financing from European sugar companies Südzucker, DSM and other companies. This time it will launch a product in the United States and will organize an executive team in the United States to focus on achieving international expansion.
